The The foot has 28 bones, 55 articulations, and has 3 different axis. The foot is obviously designed to be a mobile adaptor, having the ability to collapse to absorb shock and then lock up to become a rigid lever to propel from.
Knowing the foot is designed this way, how crazy is it to lock all those joints up with an orthotic?
Artificially locking the foot inhibits its proper function, and thereby creates dysfunction up the kinetic chain
Think about it!
